Thomas Albrecht_THREAD

“A gallery. A museum. An open filed. The body as material-producer of words, sounds, gestures, movements, actions-is the connective tissue between three distinct sites. A singe work will be enacted in different contexts, thus unfolding and evolving in time before different bodies witnessing the thread.” – Thomas Albrecht

The Safe Harbors Ann Street Gallery proudly announces THREAD, a performance art series spanning over seven-weeks with the next performance on Saturday, June 4 at 8 p.m.

Each Saturday from May 21st through July 2nd the THREAD performance art series will feature a new performance by eleven different visiting artists to include: Rae Goodwin (Kentucky), Máiréad Delaney (Vermont), Nyugen E. Smith (NYC), Ian Deleon (Brooklyn), Tif (Brooklyn), Tande (NYC) ,Vela Phelan (Massachusetts), Alice Vogler (Massachusetts), Hector Canonge (NYC) Joseph Ravens (Illinois), and Brian McCorkle (NYC).
