Anne is Head of Access Services for the Newburgh Free Library. She received her MLS from the University at Albany in 1993 and joined the Library’s Reference Department in 1994. Initially focusing on partnerships with the business community through the Library’s award-winning BRIX (Business Resource & Information eXchange) Program, she has been recognized for Outstanding Service to Minority Business Communities. She also received a New York Library Association Multicultural Award and a New York Times Librarian Award for Outstanding Community Service. Currently responsible for facilitating community access to Library collections and resources, she is also a member of the Project for Public Spaces and advocates for the Library’s role in Placemaking as a key component of urban revitalization.
